“I am currently accepting new clients! Send me an email to set up a free 30-minute consult!”
I pursued my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University with a focus in somatic counseling and body psychotherapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado.
I have always been interested in the different developmental stages and changes that occur across the human lifespan. I earned my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. While completing my undergraduate degree, I also pursued my 200-hour yoga teacher training, during which my awareness of the importance of the mind-body connection led me to train as a somatic-based counselor. I have also received further training in trauma-informed yoga, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Level II Reiki.
I take a person-centered, somatic, and integrative approach to my practice. I am passionate about supporting my clients through trauma-informed talk therapy, implementing present moment awareness and body-based resourcing, and utilizing different techniques to encourage knowledge and regulation of one’s nervous system.
I work with clients from all different identities and backgrounds and aim to build a therapeutic relationship that supports and honors each person and their life experiences. I have special interest in working with client’s who are struggling with anxiety/mood-related challenges, stress and life transitions, and trauma.
